Mi Vecino
This election, abortion was on the ballot in Florida. And with the freshly implemented law requiring that ballot initiatives receive over 60% of the vote in order to pass, Mi Vecino needed to turn their large network of activists and supporters into donors in order to register and turn out Latino voters. BCom understood the challenge of messaging to neighbors who prefer to talk issues, not politics — and we were ready to adapt our end-to-end digital fundraising strategy accordingly.
Raising over $134,000, BCom’s digital fundraising prowess proved to be a key partner for Mi Vecino. However, the silver bullet in converting our “vecinos,” or neighbors, into donors was our robust texting program. Providing real-time updates and emphasizing critical deadlines, urgent fundraising needs, and tailored messaging, our texting program raised over $19.4K, or 14.5% of our total fundraising efforts.
BCom maximized the impact of each text, and through strategic audience targeting, we achieved a 178.5% total return on investment for the texting program.
BCom’s multi-channel digital fundraising partnership was instrumental in building a multicultural, bipartisan coalition of donors and activists, ultimately helping Mi Vecino mobilize over 200,000 voters for reproductive rights.

Stand With Parkland
Stand With Parkland came to BCom with a large following on social media, but struggled to convert these activists and supporters into donors. Determined to amplify awareness of their advocacy efforts and drive engagement with their resources, BCom was poised to be the agile partner Stand With Parkland needed to grow their visibility and our donor base.
Implementing an integrated digital strategy, BCom saw an immediate opportunity to create a text program for Stand With Parkland that would capitalize on their supporters’ high engagement, while offering them a streamlined point of contact to donate. Quickly becoming a cornerstone of SWP’s strategy for key fundraising goals and deadlines, our texting program achieved a 484% return on investment. Identifying their website as an area to improve organic search visibility, BCom implemented SEO best practices and added indexing tags to the site, ultimately resulting in top rankings for all branded search terms.
BCom’s partnership with Stand With Parkland ensured users were more likely to engage with SWP’s advocacy resources, newsletters, and donation forms, paving the way for even greater returns in future campaigns together.

Give to Lincoln
An organization whose donations primarily came in the form of checks from Gen-Xers and Baby Boomers, Give to Lincoln had an untapped city of young professionals looking to impact their community — they just didn’t know how to reach them. Enter BCom’s challenge: Cutting through the noise and creating a culture of giving with a new generation of donors who don't routinely participate in philanthropy. With our digital runway ahead of us, we got to work on Give to Lincoln’s first-ever digital ads campaign for Give to Lincoln Day.
Lack of awareness is often the primary barrier between young professionals and getting involved with local philanthropy. As such, we primed our online audience with a Give to Lincoln Day informational video, retargeting those names with static ads ensuring viewers were being served with information and reminders multiple times daily. Earning over 1.8 million impressions, our campaign, “A Match Made in Lincoln,” was built around the single truth that giving on Give to Lincoln Day is the fastest way to make the biggest impact. Our strategic media placement allowed us to reach over 240,000 residents and generate over 5,900 link clicks.
BCom’s digital ad strategy proved to be an integral component of this year’s record-breaking $8.5 million fundraising haul for nonprofits across Nebraska.

Respect Voters
Growing a grassroots fundraising program for a nonprofit that supports initiatives unfamiliar to the average voter is no easy task. One of the primary goals of the Respect Voters Coalition is to educate voters and engage in state and local elections supporting pro-democracy initiatives, and BCom saw the opportunity to funnel in like-minded activists and potential supporters through a multi-channel digital outreach strategy.
With a new website geared to capture supporters’ names, as well as a complementary digital program centered on email, texting, digital ads, and list acquisition, we built a powerful fundraising arm for Respect Voters in a matter of months. Using an ads strategy that balanced fundraising asks with educational content and volunteer opportunities, we earned over 100,000 impressions that helped organically expand our list. Our aggressive acquisition strategy, coupled with our hyper-targeted sends based on issue interest and geography, supplemented our organic audience growth and allowed us to expand our active audience size by over 300%.
Through our partnership, BCom helped grow Respect Voters’ fundraising program from nonexistent to raising multiple thousands per month.
