Position Description:

We’re looking for someone who has a natural knack for building relationships and expertise in agency new business development. BCom Solutions is seeking an energetic Head of New Business to build and maintain the sales and marketing operations of our growing company. This role will be required to build new relationships with clients in the digital and technology space. If you have experience in new business development of digital agencies, read on.

At BCom, we bridge digital gaps by providing innovative digital consulting to disconnected parts of our world. Specifically, campaigns and causes.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, build, and execute business development initiatives from opportunity/discover phase to completed contract phase
  • Identify new relationships and pitch to a variety of clients including in-person presentations, webinars, phone calls, email correspondence, and large events
  • Manage the operations of the sales and marketing teams including strategy and execution for our rural digital consulting practice
  • Work with Chief Operating Officer to ensure new clients are satisfied and happy with BCom experience
  • Work with CEO and COO to develop an aggressive, goal-oriented sales strategy
  • Foster relationships with BCom communities nationally and abroad

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Sales-minded personality
  • Excellent communication skills, especially presentation skills
  • Proven experience working with tech-based agencies and startups
  • 5+ years sales and business development in energetic companies (digital preferred)
  • Ability to build client relationships from prospective to close (and satisfied)
  • A determined, self-motivated working attitude
  • Ability to be decisive and drive towards a solution that will win business
